At MRCO, we’ve been on a growth mission, and we’re not slowing down anytime soon. With three new builds and eight remodels in 2023, and plans to break ground on three more restaurants in 2024, it’s getting exciting! But it’s not just about the construction. With each new build, we have the ability to offer growth opportunities to our people.
Rick Luzader, the Director of Operations at MRCO, shared his excitement about the upcoming projects: “Every time you open a new store, it’s fun because you are learning so much about a new team, and learning to function and grow together,” shares Rick.
With the addition of new restaurants comes advancement opportunities for new and current employees. “Every new store opening is minimally six to seven additional management role opportunities for our team,” Rick says.

Not only are there new opportunities opening up within our restaurants, but we’re finding needs for new roles during the building process. As of 2023, This year, we’ve been focused on the infrastructure within the Development Department. Thus, the project manager role was born. With that, we congratulate former Area Coach Nuri Bulut, who has been with us for 26 years and is our first Project Manager.
“He will be part of all of our future builds and remodels,” Rick says of Nuri’s promotion. “His job is to oversee a lot of the tasks associated with new builds and remodels.”
We’re thrilled to continue to extend opportunities like these to our team members and managers because we’ve got a lot of rising stars! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2024!
