RGM Omni Mayberry on Learning, Growing

Categories:

Behind a big, beautiful smile is Restaurant General Manager Omni Mayberry, who’s celebrating her 16th year with the Taco Bell brand. Like many of our people, Omni started working as a crew member when she was just 15.

She’s garnered a lot of wisdom over the years. The most important advice Omni would offer? Take advantage of the many learning opportunities dangling in front of you.

Omni is among the oldest on her team and says she learns a lot from younger team members. She doesn’t take for granted what she already knows, and has learned to appreciate what she can glean from others.

Within five years of joining MRCO, she became manager of the location she was working for. That restaurant, our Mount Juliet location, went on to win Taco Bell’s prestigious Golden Bell Award, being named among the top 100 Taco Bells in the country. Now, Omni leads the team at our Eastgate Taco Bell in Lebanon, TN.

She says the Golden Bell experience helped her a lot on a personal and professional level: the structure, learning new things and more. In fact, there are lots of benefits to explore at MRCO!

“The people, the learning, the family culture that we have here,” says Omni. “… the way they don’t just treat us like a number or an employee. Everybody’s very personable, friendly and welcoming.”

She encourages us all to never stop learning!
