Out of 7,000 Taco Bells nationwide, we’re pleased to announce that MRCO’s Mount Juliet restaurant in Tennessee recorded the highest fundraising total in 2021 — exceeding the next highest fundraiser by a few thousand dollars — despite being just an “average volume” restaurant.
So how did we do it? Through teamwork and promotion of Taco Bell Foundation’s Round Up Program, which encourages customers to “round up” their total to the nearest dollar. According to company leadership, Area Coach Imani Parson is incredibly passionate about the Foundation’s mission, which is to support and inspire the next generation of leaders. He motivates his team to collect donations regularly at the register.
Taco Bell Foundation gives half of a restaurant’s Round Up fundraising totals back to the franchisee to support nonprofits at the local level, that benefit youth in a location’s surrounding communities. It’s this kind of teamwork that makes larger donations possible, such as our recent presentation of $131,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.
“We couldn’t be more proud, happy and appreciative of what the Mount Juliet team has been doing,” says Owner Amin Ferdowsi.
